The email server was royal screwed today and had to be rebuilt from scratch. I've got things back online for the most part but things are still not back to 100%. You should be able to login and use the forums. You should also be able to check and receive email. Currently however everyone's email boxes are empty. I should be able to recover most of everyone's email but at this point I don't have a good time table for when it will be online. When I have more info I'll let you all know.

Barack Obama, the son of a father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, was elected the nation's 44th president Tuesday, breaking the ultimate racial barrier to become the first African American to claim the country's highest office.
As many of you have known for months now, Mythic has offered it's pre-pay customers the chance to get a head start on the competition. It seamed like a very nice gesture and a good way to pump up sales. Obviously it worked on the sales side with over 1.5 million units being pushed before release. Unfortunately though if you decided not to pay for the exorbitant express shipping option on your online orders you may be locked out now that the game has been released. That is unless of course you're lucky enough to have ordered from one of EA's favorite stores. Including Amazon, GoGamer and the EA Store. If you bought from another retailer they obviously could care less. Why did we go out of our way to buy the game months a head of time? Many people would have been better off to wait and purchase it retail at a local brick and mortar store.
The thing the boggles the mind though, is that to get a head start code you had to purchase the game. It's obvious that these people payed for the game up front. Why then the need to lock them out 24 hours after the game launches? Unless you payed for over night delivery you can expect to miss the entire launch weekend. That is unless you actually bought your game from EA's store. Then you get an extra few days.
Initial Reaction to Punisher:Warzone Posted by: waynealop Well I saw this last night. I must say it was better than the previews initially made me think it would be. Hyperviolent, and this Punisher is a badass. I guess its not saying much for a film when you say that "it wasn't as shitty as I expected," but I found it to be rather enjoyable. I just wish they would have kept the violence a little more realistic. Whenever someone got shot in the head, it sounded like someone broke a watermelon open with a mallet and then emptied a gallon bucket on the floor. Too much "splash". And the blood looked like jam.
The story line was only decent, but you don't watch this kind of film for the story. I don't know. I can't rave about this film, but I liked the Thomas Jane one. It was more compelling to me.
Initial Reaction Quantum of Solace Posted by: invisiblerabbit
I'm sorry to say this didn't live up to it's predecessor. The obvious intent was to bring a new plot element to a long lived storyline, which I like, but they came short in the implementation. The first half hour or so was action freeking packed! The whole time I was on the edge of my seat going "ow", "DAMN!" or "SHIT THAT HURT!" but when they fell into the bulk of the plot the movie kinda stalled. They tried to make it a subversive plot with twists and turns, but even though they explained everything, they didn't do it very well. Craig played Bond superbly (again), Judi Dench was good, I like the guy who plays Felix Lighter and I must say I love the Euro trash villains they are using, however the finale of the ... Initial Reaction to Heroes season 3 launch Posted by: spidermonkey
Heroes season 3: Epoch of Redundancy really started of on a craptastic, bullshit infused, vomit soaked, tampon-meteor ride to the lower levels of mental hell. If this series gets any shittier I swear I might just have to stop watching it.
It has become, without a doubt, everything I hoped it would not. I love the revamped winning formula they have put together; mushy acting, Frederica Bimmel size plot holes, an overabundance of new characters to be bored by, a lack of competence in all things, and poor pacing that also makes no sense. How do they make pacing make no sense? AAAAaaaarrrghh! It doesn't make sense.
Overall this show decided to cut it with the originality and somewhat decent plot lines to turn up the heat and ... Click Here For More
Initial reaction to The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Posted by: darkling
Let me preface this by saying that I really enjoyed The Mummy and I even liked The Mummy Returns. Up to this point, I considered The Scorpion King to be the retarded failure of the Mummy series. Anyway, on to the review...
I had heard bad things about The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and hadn't intended to see it. Unfortunately, it was the only movie showing when we wanted to see one. Like lambs to the slaughter in a cut-rate horror movie, we figured, "How bad could it be?"
The answer is, more grotesque and horrifying than Pee-Wee Herman riding Vanilla Ice like a pony. Naked. With a bikini top made of meal worms. But at least that would be semi-original. Honestly! I have scooped more creativity out of ... Click Here For More
